Assess your ability and experience levels and pick out a captain accordingly, since you don’t want your captain just handing you a pole and a load of squid and then ignoring you, or taking about basics if you’re a pro. Most captains will of course handle a range of experience levels, but it’s best to be confident before leaving shore.
Be sure to bring polarized sunglasses and a camera so you can catch and release but still brag about your adventure tales once you^re home. Release everything you won’t eat because over fishing now will exhaust the fish supply for future fishermen. If you’re not taking your catch, return the fish to the water as readily as you can; likewise the more quickly you might pull your fish in (the less time it spends fighting), the happier it will be when returned to the ocean.

Fishermen seeking dolphin have to depart at sunrise, shoot for approximately one hundred twenty feet of water, and drive towards diving birds or drifts of floating sea grasses.
